Software Maintenance Program

Maintenance for Software Upgrades and Technical Support

When you purchase GoldSim software, you receive one year of Software Maintenance (for leases, the maintenance extends for the duration of the lease period).  Software Maintenance entitles you to the following:

  • Free software upgrades so that you always have the latest Release of the GoldSim software.
  • Basic Technical Support provided by a GoldSim expert via the GoldSim Help Center. Basic support  covers installation and registration questions, as well as basic questions about GoldSim's features and building models.
  • Ability to access all the examples in the GoldSim Model Library (models in the Model Library are only available in the latest GoldSim version; hence, if you do not have active maintenance, you may not have the ability to access these).

Annual Maintenance Fees

If you wish to continue to have access to new versions and technical support, Software Maintenance can be extended each year with payment of an annual fee. The annual fee per license is calculated by adding the fee of the base product plus the fee for any add-on modules. The fee is a function of the type of license.

Product Desktop Standalone Enterprise Standalone Concurrent Network (per seat)
GoldSim $1950 $2925 $3900
Add-on Modules Desktop Standalone Enterprise Standalone Concurrent Network (per seat)
Distributed Processing Plus (DP Plus) $600 $900 $1200
Reliability Professional (RL) $600 $900 $1200
Contaminant Transport (CT) $600 $900 $1200
Radionuclide Transport (RT) $2735 $4100 $5470

Software Maintenance fees are collected once per year on the anniversary date of your GoldSim purchase. We will send you a reminder of your Maintenance expiration 6 to 8 weeks before it expires.

Please note that the annual Software Maintenance fees quoted above are only valid if you pay the fee each year. If you choose to skip a year and then pay for Maintenance the following year, you would be required to pay for both years in order to have access to the most recent version of GoldSim.
