Municipal Water Supply Operations Model
The purpose of this model is to demonstrate the calculation of flow rate through a pump station made up of 3 pumps in parallel given pump operating curves and required head upstream of the pump. This model includes a dashboard with flow, level, and pressure indicators that give the model a psuedo real-time feel. The dashboard also provides information about warning states, such as overflows and water delivery shortages. This type of model is ideal for water balance models that simulate the more detailed operations and controls for the facilities.
